Liza and her Law Degree.....annoying.

It seems Liza shows up everywhere flaunting her Law Degree and bailing people out of trouble with the law on a daily basis. She is in so many scenes representing people on this show...makes me wonder if the main writter....Mr Pratt...has given her the key role on the show...and she will become the new "Ryan"...meaning...the show will revolve around her. Just my opinion. |

And what the hell is the deal with her and this too short, too tight, supposed maternity dress? I don't recall wearing short, tight sleezy outfits when I was preggers. |

I miss Marcy Walker. She was so good. I understand your point, however, the CHARACTER is what everyone's talking about. The Liza character was not slutty; or at least I don't remember her being that way. Short tight maternity dresses, made for a pregnant hooker is NOT a great look on someone calling themself a lawyer. Just my opinion. While Jamie Luner is attractive, I think AMC should stick more to the script with regards to how "Liza Colby" is supposed to look, rather than letting any and everybody walk on set and improvise. But then again, maybe that's the whole deal. Maybe writers don't care about the person, as long as they memorize lines. I mean, the character "Erica Kane" was a teenager in 1970, and now, several grand children, 10 husbands and many wrinkles later, she's STILL a "teenager." |

Just my opinion. Gotta love you LucyBrown!! I couldn't agree more...this is NOT the way the old Liza was portrayed. I am not even talking about the actors here, but the character of Liza Colby. Liza was smart, sassy, intelligent, and wore mostly pantsuits! She was conniving and ruthless at times, but in a more suble, less sultry way than the character is currently being written as. Shame on Charles Pratt for ruining another character!

I'm with you. I miss Marcy Walker. This Jamie Luner should have been a new character and not a replacement. Just sucks. |
