Hi, AMC posters I am a new poster and I have decided that I will start watching AMC. It will be a hrd thing to do for a minute because I am a dedicated fan of the Y&r, B&B, and ATWT. But I focus more of Y&r then I do with B&B and ATWT which I watch on occassion. But anyway my point of making this thread is to learn about AMC and to see what's up. I am a young male so of course this may be a shocker to most seeing a MALE on a soap forum lol..but oh well..But in closing I tend to make this a good run and I hope that I can actaully get into this soap seeing as to how I have 3 other soaps to remember along with their s/l and characters and I now I have to learn this 1. But i am excited and anxious to see what's happenign here on AMC!! |

Welcome to our board....no need weezle yourself into the conversations...this a free and open board...everyone is welcome and I love to read all the opinions posted....some are outright hilarious....I've been watching AMC (and OLTL) since the early 70's...hope to see you posting...:-) |

:-) Welcome new poster--glad to hear you're a male soap fan. I think there are alot more out there but just don't want to admit to it!! That is just dumb because I personally think soaps are better than the dopey stuff that is on primetime. Enjoy posting P.S. I watch AMC and Y&R too-Love 'em' |

I used to be team CBS, too, but after I got SoapNet, I realized what I was missing, and decided to move. I've been watching ABC soaps for about three or so years now. Hope you enjoy it over here, too.

Thank you all for the welcome and I look forward to posting with you guys soon. It will take me a minute to do so because I have to spend a little more time on the studying the show along with the characters and s/l keeping in mind that I have three other soap operas in my head lol so I'm a busy person with keeping up with all the soap operas. I'm a young person and I'm surprised that I even watch soap operas but for the longest I hated it but one day my mom had asked me to watch the stories for her one day because she would be gone for a while that day and she didn't want to miss it and at that time there was any dvr, tivo or anything that allowed u to tape them. So she asked me to watch the stories for her (Y&R) and I didn't want to but I wa s being obedient and on top of that I didn't know what to look for or anything in the stories because I have never watched them. But man after that day it became a brief habit with me watching it because when it was interesting to me that day and when something is interesting to me and I don't much about it I will study it, well watch in this case, until I get an understanding of it and ever since then I have been a soap fan lol..So I thought I'd share this brief background with you guys to let you know how I got into the soap world.. |

I also watch The Young And The Restless, but the Other Soap I Watch besides All My Children is One Life To Live. All My Children Takes Place in Pine Valley Pennsylvania. There is Erica Kane who is Played by Susan Lucci. Kendall is Erica's Daughter and Spike and Ian are Erica's Grandchildren although Nobody will Call them that. Bianca is Erica's Other Daughter and She is Living in Paris. There is Adam Chandler who is Played by David Canary. David Canary Also Played Adam's Twin Brother Stuart who was Recently Killed by Mistake. The Shooter was Trying to Kill Adam. JR and Colby are Adam's Children. Little A is JR's Son. Babe was Little A's Mother, but She Died in A Tornado Last October. Krystal and David Hayward are Babe's Parents. Marissa is Babe's Twin Sister. There is Tad Martin and Jake is Tad's Brother. Jake has Married Amanda. Amanda gave Birth to David Hayward's Baby. Liza is Colby's Mother and She wants to Adopt Amanda's Baby. Opal is Tad's Mother, but Ruth Martin is Jake's Mother. Joe and Ruth Adopted Tad. Spike is Ryan Lavery's Son, but Ian is Zach's Son. Greenlee is Jack Montgomery's Daughter, but She Died Last Valentine's Day. Emma is Ryan's Daugher and Annie is Emma's Mother. Annie is Crazy and had been Arrested for Killing her Brother. Annie will be Living With Adam Very Soon. Jody Wow thanks and yes this does help me out very much. Now all I have to do is study this and watch it at the same time so I can put it altogether in a short time frame. But I'm a very fast learner so I'm not worried about that but I just can't wait to actually start making threads and responding to them but I just don't get to see it as much as I would like. So until then I'll just have to read what you guys write and study and it and glance at it when I can and the whole 9 yards. I can watch it on Soapnet when I miss it in the daytime but even that don't work out because I am a college student so I be doing late nighters sometimes and it just trains my energy. But in closing the only reason I can catch the other 1's is because my mom is forever taping them EVERY EPISODE MISSING NOT 1 of Y&R, B&B, and ATWT so I can;t help but stay up-to-date on those because she always wants to talk with me about it so besides me just listening to her I gotta watch it for myself so I cna shed my light on it.But again, I will get into it and when I do watch out because I will be on here posting like crazy lol.. |
