Anybody remember Friday's episode? (or it could have been Thursday) where Liza justified sleeping with Zach by saying, "I didn't know he was married to Kendall."???

BUT, weeks ago when she was at Zach's house, still not telling him what her name was, she picked up Kendall's picture and went on to lecture Zach about how he's newly divorced with a baby, etc. (This was before the whole heart valve and Ian story jumped off)

I may have to look at these clips again on YouTube or something, but if I'm not mistaken, writers either goofed this one up, or Liza was just flat out lying. If she saw Kendall's picture in Zach's house, how could she NOT know who she was? Even if she didn't know they were married, you think she would have seen this picture and said, "Oh, you know Kendall?" I mean, when she saw Kendall at the hospital, she knew who she was because she hugged her. But she didn't remember what she looked like when she saw her picture at Zach's house?

Also, someone else pointed out that Liza (then played by Marcy Walker) was on AMC when Zach was there too. She was there either 2002, or 2005. Either way, how could she NOT know who Zach was, or that he was married to Kendall? One thing about these soaps...they make sure that ALL characters know one another. With this new Liza, they made it seem as if the casino was the first time and place Liza and Zach met.

MisChef, I think the writers just goofed this one. I believe Liza told Jesse at one point that she and Kendall were friends in years past (when Marcy Walker, the first Liza was on in 2005)so if she saw Kendall's picture in Zach's house wouldn't Liza recognize her? Since Charles Pratt and Jamie Luner (new Liza) worked together on Melrose Place he is a big fan of hers. He has gone on the record in magazines saying Jamie is "a real a$$-kicker." I don't think he is going to make the new Liza as conniving as she seems, or that big a liar. I have said it before...Pratt is not the smartest in the bunch! I think mistakes in the writing are made daily!

If I'm not mistaken, she slept with Zach before she saw Kendall's picture. She and Zach slept together on the pool table at the casino. Later on down the line, she went to Zach's apartment to talk to him and she spotted Kendall's picture.

Yeah, Liza slept with Zack before she went to his home, she knew Kendall, but at that time I don't think she knew he was married to Kendall. and I am not sure she ever cross path with him during her time in P/V. Zack came on campus on May 20th 2004, Liza (Marcy Walker)last appearance on AMC was January 2005.

My question was, when Liza went to Zach's house and saw Kendall's picture, she acted as if she did not know Kendall. Sleeping with Zach before, after, etc., is not the issue. The issue is her looking at Kendall's picture with no reaction, pretending as if she didn't know Kendall. Furthermore, Liza (played by Marcy Walker) was on AMC back in 2005. How could she NOT know Zach, and just "meeting him" for the first time at the casino this year?
Lastly, when Kendall saw her at the hospital, she hugged Liza and they spoke briefly. And as Mamafutz said, they were friends back in the day...therefore, how could she NOT KNOW her "friend's" husband when they've been married since when???? 2002??

Remember, everybody knows everybody on Soaps. Writers can fool other people, but Liza clearly looked at Kendall's picture; pretended not to know her; then hugged and sparked up a conversation with this same woman she pretended not to recognize at the hospital. Even if she "pretended" not to know Kendall because of Zach, still, there is always some kind of gestured being made for the audience's benefit that Liza knew "something." Again, no indication was ever made that Liza knew Kendall until they bumped into each other at the hospital.
