I regret to inform you that it is true. While checking my e-mail account under entertainment headlines was the announcement of Erica/Ryan couple. Starting on 06/22. It is an AP report. It also states that Kendell & Ryan were married once. Did I miss something?

OMG, this is seriously incestuous. Kendall has a child with Ryan and now Ryan is boinking his child's grandmother and his former mother-in-law.(Yes, Ryass/Kendall were married years ago). I know soaps are on a budget and don't bring in too many new characters, but this is horrendous. I can't imagine "doing it" with my daughter's husband if they got divorced. Ewwwwww....

When were they married? I know that they came close but something always stopped them. Does anyone remember Chris Stamp? Ryan's biological father and onetime fiance of Erica.

Yes, years ago. Maybe you weren't watching at that time? Greenlee tried to stop the wedding, called the police and did all kinds of crazy things! Only on soaps do people remain friends after those shenanigans.

This is truly ICKY. That Erica would hook up with her daughters ex is too much to take. And, they say the idea came from viewers. YUCK. This is further proof that the current writing team can't come up with their own ideas and are grabbing at straws.

The show will hit an all time low if they do this. Susan Lucci should refuse. Perhaps they have a very good reason for going here?

OMG! I don't think I will be able to watch AMC any more if they truly go through with Erica and Ryan being paired. That is just too much!!! I agree that it is just too close to home for it to work out. If they want Erica with a younger man, bring in someone without any ties to them. ICK! ICK! ICK!!!
