I was thinking it could be Janet, she has long hair (Emma's drawing)and could have escaped again and Killed Stuart thinking it was Adam and snuck back in before anyone noticed she was missing. It has happened before.

Why would she want Adam dead? Maybe she wanted to frame David for the murder because he wants to take Amanda's baby - her Grandaughter! That way he would go to prison and be out of Amanda's way and put him away for good for Amanda's sake. He is the perfect suspect because of the pill switch and the custody battle. Some people were suspecting him on the show today.

Why not just kill David herself? Because she has no motive to kill Adam but does have a motive to kill David that way she is not a suspect at all.

In the past she has always found a way to know what is going on with Amanda and Pine Valley from the looney bin.

Maybe that is who Kendall tripped over. I don't think it is going to be anyone that we saw at the mansion - too odvious.

Knowing AMC, the killer will be someone we care nothing about.....like Nurse Gayle. Adam fired her a week before Stuart was shot and she is probably crazy peeved!

I think that it will be an obscure person, like a family member of the Doctor who created the heart valve, he committed suicide over that valve and maybe family member wants revenge?? Its always a let down once a murder is solved because it's never who you think it is

I like your theory too. Your are right about some unknown person being the killer, they do that a lot and it is always a let down, like Alexander Cambias as the Satin Slayer!

I have thought about Janet for some time because Dixie was killed with pancakes (?) that were meant for Babe. She wanted Amanda to be with JR not Babe. The writers seem to be connecting the murders of Dixie and Stuart but not sure why Janet would want Adam dead. However, I did miss a couple years due to work so not sure if I know all of the facts.

if you remember when the doctor hung himself there was a knock on the door. I think someone killed him and made it look like suicide. We know it wasn't Scott because he was at the mansion trying to call him and he's the one that ended up finding him. Could it have been David? A woman couldn't lift his body up that high to hang him but wonder if someone gave him something to 'relax' him and then hung him. Bet tptb at the hospital 'assumed' that he hung himself and never ran any blood tests to see if there was any drugs in it. Where's CSI when you need them

Hasn't anyone thought about the fact that people who are regulars on the soap get away somehow with everything? therefore it does not have to anyone not obvious or obscure It can be a main charachter who gets away with it as usual.....jmo

I think whoever "killed" Dixie is responsible. Why else would they have Alexander Cambias announce he didn't kill her? I can't think of anybody who want her dead but David, for dropping him for Tad.
