Why is Jake.....

I haven't watched in a while can someone tell me why Jake is giving Amanda's baby to Liza? Isn't he supposed to love Amanda? |

They're going to have Amanda give birth, then let Liza adopt the baby but make like it's her own, all while creating a story that Amanda's baby died at birth. But you know David; he doesn't have to call the psychic hotline. He just knows things. He's going to somehow get a blood sample from that baby and match it with his own, blah, blah, blah. I can already see writers working on this ridiculous storyline. |

I have gotton to dislike Jake because of this. He is a double dealer. David cannot take Amanda's baby. She would have to be proven an unfit mother. All Jake has to do is marry Amanda. She would be safe in the marriage and David could not touch that child, even if he was proven the biological father. This show is so backwards in that storyline. Amanda would be safely married. All she has to do is go to court and set up visitation rights. David is not the all powerful. Amanda and Jake are so stupid in letting David control their destiny. The whole storyline is stupid as hell. It dosen't make sense either that Liza wants to raise another child. She needs to make right with Colby, no matter how long it takes. Having another baby is unrelated to her and Colby. I hope the writers change all this before we have to watch years of more stupid stuff. |

Yeah, but the part that REALLY irks me here, is the fact that David signed a LEGALLY BINDING contract stating that he gives up all rights as a father. He was in his right frame of mind, and was not on any meds that altered his thinking process. Krystal presented him with an ultimatum, and he signed it. So it wouldn't matter if Amanda was single and on welfare, living in a trailor....the papers David signed automatically excludes him from this baby's life. So I concur with you...the Jake/Amanda/David storyline is beyond stupid. How does David think he and the courts can simply ignore what he signed? |

I had forgotten about that when Krystal presented him w.those papers...So now why would Krystal run to the "Silly Clown" w/the bandage on his head when all she had to do was remind Dr.Monster about those papers...That was the darnedest thing...She left Tad and went through "fire" and "Brimstone" to keep her MAN (Dr.Monster)...then leave him on a whim over a silly a$$ check bribe to Amanda....I will never get over that one! |

Jake thinks he's doing the right thing. But what ever happened to his wife...has this been addressed and I missed it? I agree that David can't just take the baby and Amanda would have to be proven unfit. I think Amanda needs to open her eyes and see the gold mine she's been handed...Jake! |

I wish Jake would leave Amanda. I don't see any chemistry with them. He was such a jerk to her when she was with JR. Now he is supposed to be her knight in shining...scrubs! I liked her with JR. She made him be a better person and he brought out the vamp in her. Jake is BORING! On another note, Know anyone else that had a bullet taken out of their brain and came home with a full head of hair and a bandaid? sheesh! |
