hi Pennywise, first we need a realistic suspect list:
known Characters:
JOSH: Each time there was a murder, he came on the scene afterwards, the people with whom he interacted, were met either just before discovering the Bodies or he entered to the scene just after. I would like to see a personality disorder through the gene-test that Greg Madden ran and with which he experimented as Josh was in the developing years... Greg wanted to make the perfect Madden, one that was brilliant like himself and one that overwhelms his levels of geniality.

Maggie: Who knows when she really returned to PV. We've witnessed her outrage concerning Binx's attention to Zoe. Perhaps we can imagine that she has been keeping tabs on the women of Fusion for some time and wanted them taken tragically so that Bianca would have only her to lean on. As she was aware of Zarf and that Bianca and he were getting close, she came back to town to insure that Bianca stays a lesbian... far fetched but possible. We don't know if she had access to Fusion when nobody knew that she was there, she may have had the Bugs installed from the beginning.

Greg Madden: What if he had someone at the crematory, who upon his arrival, gave him an injection which brought him from his near-death state. We have all heard of people who appear dead, no heart or brain waves are measured and in end effect they awake just as the dirt is tossed over their coffins. Greg Madden was clever enough to know that his time is nearly coming to an end in PV, could have arranged for this and as the earthquake started, meditated. He appeared dead... Was in a trance!

So... I would like the outcome to be that Zoe in complete anger over Babe's demise, goes all out and solves the crime!

You may add to the suspects or cross these that I have considered out. Interesting would be maybe, to have an unknown Suspect, Plot and Closure. Please keep our end-of-theory with Zoe in mind. We want to build a storyline of events that will lead to this climax.

PS: Maybe Kendall is the one that the Killer wants to make crazy and uses Zach's past to achieve this. We all know that Kendall never has been anything than a self-worshipping psychopath, she had crossed so many people and perhaps it is one of these people who want to torture her... just as an idea to the unknown suspects.

I did notice that at the entrapment party someone was shown to be watching from outside of the house. That's too bad, because I would vote to hang a noose around Josh's neck too. Since he, Kendall,and Kenny were at the party-it must be someone else. I really thought that a clue had been dropped when it was mentioned that Kenny had been to the grocrey store-was it him watching the peanut butter go into the cart?
I think that the most perverse twist, would be Erica as the nut job doing this. She could be in another mental fluge (a la...stealing a baby,knifing her husband,going Las Vegas,ect)state. Of course she won't really kill Kendall but, she would enjoy tormenting Zack. He, after all, saw her in a pretty sad state-sans glamor. This plotting would give Ms Erica a chance to really chew some furniture,and possibly some interresting scenes with Janet. Janet, by the way, is one of the most amusing characters ever written into the show-she is played brilliantly. I really don't have a good motivation for her to do all this except the obvious gain in killing Babe.

If Greg were alive, he would go for Tad and Zach....he would not waste his time on hurting the women...he would know who did that to him....Josh is just like Erica in the way he acts....are you sure that they really are not related in real life

So, I am thinking as if I were the revived Greg Madden:
1. Tad had a thing with Simone and her death cut him deeply, at the same time it cut Zach to the bone. Mission accomplished

2. Erin: Ryan's sister. Ryan and Kendall nixed Greg on spike. Madden would sell Spike but not hurt him, then he did love children. Erin was the best way to get at Ryan for interfering with Gregs plans for Spike, he supported the Zach-Kendall relationship and was for a mad man also part of the plan to rid the world of him. Erin wasn't planned with, but was available. Were other Fusiongirls not occupied at the time, Greg may have had let Erin live. Well, things didn't quite go the way they should, so he found the next best way to burn up a bit of frustration.

3. Babe: Davids Daughter, Jamies ex, JR's wife--- Tads step-daughter-in-law, Dixies daughter-in-law. Why?
JR and Jamie had been messing around with Josh, trying to fill his head with wicked lies about Greg...-think like a psychopath for a moment, pls-. JR and Jamie are quazy Tad and Dixie's son.

Madden doesn't wish Tad and Dixie anything but misery, then they are the ones who started destroying his reputation and therewith his reputation.

Kendall: Erica's daughter for lack of a better reason, Erica must suffer for not loving his ingenious and his money. Kendall must die.

Why not Greg Madden?

I think he's the perfect suspect, or do you know of others who want to maybe get their hooks into Kendall and this isn't about Zach at all??? outland would like to know-

Call me a die-hard but I still am holding to my original theory. I would like to see the killer be Janet.

Zach's mother is found to be alive, but committed to an insane asylum for having the nerve to have an affair on
Alexander Cambias. He also let Zach believe that he had
murdered his mother all these years. This would also explain
all the whispering that Zach said he remembered between the servants as a child. They stopped talking when he entered the room. If he had told his father, they would have been fired on the spot, or murdered!

I think that Zarf/Zoey was the result of the affair she had with another man, "R", and Alexander adopted him out at birth. He may have even killed "R". When he was dying, he told Ryan that he was going to Hell, because of the blood on his hands.

I think that Zach's mother probably met Janet in the nut-house and she told her the story, not knowing that Janet knew the Lavery's and Zach.

Janet had a lot of old grudges with the people of Pine Valley. Simone deliberately attacked Amanda and tried to break her arm. Erin was more aggresive than Ryan when it came to standing up for Johnathan. Erin and Danielle fought the hardest when Babe tried to hire Amanda. Janet always hated the Fryes ever since she first came on the show (even to the point of once trying to set fire to the chairs just because Derek and Mimi sat on them during dinner. ) This was when she had Natalie in the well, and was posing as her. And you can be sure that Derek didn't make it very pleasant on her when she was arrested for killing Trevor. Trevor used to be his partner when he was a cop. Also, Dixie was the only one in town to fight her parole when she had murdered Will.

At the time she had murdered Will, she was in police custody, but found a way to escape and get back in un-noticed. Also after she had been sent to prison, she had managed to steal a guard's keys.

She also is the only one that I can think of that is nuts enough and mean enough to poison items in general, that a small child could get into. You have to be pretty heartless to do that and to hide in the house, just to watch it happen, is pretty sick! Which describes Janet to a tee. She showed that she has no compassion for Little A. She kidnapped him twice already. One time she left him out in the snow by himself, and another time she took him to that cabin, knowing there was a dead body in the freezer. And she was feeding Babe abd Little A food that was stored in with Trevor's body. HOW GROSS!!!!

She is a real devil, and needs to be stopprd for good!!!! If it does turn out to be her, give her the death penalty!!! If I am wrong, I apolagize.

Your explanation is beautiful! I could imagine this to be true, just as much as I could imagine Greg Madden could have meditated his way to the crematory, had the ashes switched and went into hiding. I just don't know, but if it's not him, it could just may be Janet, it passes to her MO!

Thank You. I have been watching AMC since the original episode, and Janet is one of the wackiest, and also the funniest characters they ever put on. I am glad that Kate Collins is coming back this month. I heard that Derek is supposed to pick her brain about the killings, and the way a serial killer thinks. Wouldn't it be wild, if she did turn out to be the killer? The police would be feeding her information, and not even know it!!!!

I really enjoy your creative solution-picking Janet but,hasn't she been in lock up for awhile? I really hope for more from this story-line than just reusing old villians. Thank you for helping me to remember a lot of old connections(re:grudges)between the characters. I've been watching for 17+ years,and have forgotten a lot.

I agree with Pennywise, this is really intriging! Derek is sooooo obnoxious, that he would definately be giving her the info's that she needed. I think that if she isn't the killer, she would probably figure out who it is and work through him. I would love it, I am sick of Derek not doing his work and relying on everything to come pretty package floating into his hands. What a bad cop! He deserves what's coming to him.

I am inclined to beleive its Josh who is the killer. He wants to get even with the Pine Valley cast for killing his father.

Does it make sence for him to threaten Babe's life? The only benifit I can see would be to drive her into his protective arms-but if any real harm comes to her,he would be the last one I would pick to be the perp.
