BIOGRAPHY

Beth Ehlers was born in Queens and raised on Long Island, NY until the age of nine. Her family moved to Roosevelt Island where she attended Manhattan's Satellite Academy, a famed performing arts school. There, Beth learned to love acting. After attending a year at Syracuse University, Beth was offered the role of Harley on Guiding Light in 1987. During her hiatus from Guiding Light, Beth worked in Los Angeles as a production assistant on commercials and music videos. After a brief return to Guiding Light for the show's 60th anniversary celebration in January 1997, Beth was asked to return to the show on a permanent basis. She left the show in 2008.

Beth took on the role of Army Lt. Taylor Thompson on All My Children in July 2008.

Beth and her husband Matthew, a sports video editor, were married on March 22, 1996. They welcomed their first child Henry, on May 21, 1999 and currently reside in New York.
