BIOGRAPHY
Rebecca Budig originated the role of Greenlee Smythe in 1999. The role was only supposed to last a few months but the show quickly offered her a three year contract. Rebecca left the role in 2005 to pursue other acting projects.
Before landing the role of Greenlee, Rebecca played Michelle Bauer on Guiding Light. She has also landed a few made-for-tv movies like "James Dean: Race with Destiny" and in 2007 starred in the Lifetime TV movie "The Perfect Child". Rebecca returned to Pine Valley in January of 2008 to reprise her role as Greenlee.
In addition to acting, Rebecca enjoys knitting and running. She ran the New York Marathon and finished with a time of 3:43:56!
