BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1959 in Queens, NY, Vincent Irizarry was involved in the arts by the age of 10. At age 11, he enjoyed studying photography which is still a favorite hobby today. Irizarry studied the piano and became a trained classical musician. Later on in Berklee College in Boston, he became involved in acting where he was awarded a full scholarship at the Theater Institute with the late Lee Strasberth.

After appearing in Off-Broadway Shakespeare festival, Vincent received a role on CBS soap Guiding Light. During his time on GL, he became a talented vocalist where he realized a dream of performing as a soloist with the Orchestre de Lyon in France.

Vincent Irizarry first joined the cast of All My Children in November of 1997 playing the character Dr. David Hayward. He rejoined the cast in July 1998 after a several-month long absence. In addition to Guiding Light, Irizarry also appeared on the award-winning Santa Barbara.

David has 2 daughters and a son and currently resides in New York.
