BIOGRAPHY

Alexa Havins originates from Chandler, AZ where she began her career dancing at the age of three. By the age of five, she was performing with a professional jazz troupe in AZ. Following the advice of her mentor Jean Fowler, who's known for training Jeannie Garth & Amy Davidson to name a couple, Alexa moved to New York. There she studied at the Circle in the Square Theater but longed for the west coast.

Upon arriving in Los Angeles, it took her but a few months to land guest spots on Reno 911 and Secret Lives and secured four roles in films. A wonderfully down to earth all American girl, Alexa relocated to New York City with an ABC contract in hand to play the bad girl we all love to hate - Babe Chandler. The on-screen chemistry she shares with Jacob Young is very sizzling, becoming a very well known soap character of daytime television.

Married to co-star Justin Bruening [Jamie Martin] in 2005, Alexa enjoys spending time with family and friends and taking hip hop classes. She currently lives with Justin in Manhattan.
