I wasn't watching the show back when Ross arrived on the scene so I really don't know too much about him.

I guess I don't see that Ross has turned into a bad guy. He wants to see his daughter (as far as he know, she is his) and people are throwing roadblocks up in front of him. As far as coupling - I do like Ross with Blair and Tea with his brother.
